My mother's grandparents were Elias and Martha Helyar. We know that Martha died in childbirth on the ship out to Australia because the voyage was delayed by bad weather, and the ship's docyor was an alcholic. The twins who were born died as a result. They were probably full term but there was no milk for them. You may of course know this.
My grandfather settled in a part of Victoria known as the Mallee, in an area called Werrap. I have a picture of their house, and photos of the family.
