ROBINSON

I have hit a brick wall with my Robinson. I have very little information on them. Trying to find where John Robinson was born, the year was 1885. I don't have nothing on his parents or siblings.
He married Jane (Jennie) Davison in Alberta, Canada and had two girls, Elizabeth and Isabelle. The girls were born in Hillcrest, Alberta. Elizabeth married William W. Simpson in 1932.
Can someone help?
