I would like to find out any information about the descendents of families NAUM TOPALI and his wife EFTALIA, that lived in Korce,ALBANIA, and moved in the 1900-1930’s in U.S.A(Boston) and ROMANIA (Bucharest).
My grand-fathers and their possible 5 descendents are:
1.NAUM TOPALI
-born:aprox.1850:KORCE,ALBANIA
-death:before 1909:KORCE,ALBANIA
2.EFTALIA TOPALI
-born:aprox.1860:KORCE,ALBANIA
-death:after 1909(maybe 1930-1940):KORCE,ALBANIA
DESCENDENTS:
1.ATHENA(ATINA)TOPALI:born in 1888,established in ROMANIA(BUCHAREST),married with IANE CRISTACHE,and died in 1960.
2.EVRIDICHI TOPALI,born in maybe 1890-died in maybe 1970, established in ROMANIA,married with NICOLITZARU.
3. ?...TOPALI,born in maybe 1895-died in maybe 1975,married with BOROVA,and remained in KORCE,ALBANIA,having as son BOROVA PANDELE.
4. ?.. TOPALI,born maybe in 1883-1888,married, established in USA- BOSTON MA or in KINGS NY,and died maybe in 1965-1985.
5. ?..TOPALI,born maybe in 1940-1945,established in USA, BOSTON MA or PHOENIX AZ.
My relatives were Macedonian-roumanians and their languages were Aromanian,Albanian,Turkish and Greek,because Albania was temporary occupied by Turkey and Greece(in different times).The great grandfather Naum Topali might have had his family greek,that emigrated in Korce-Albania because the persecutions made by the turkish occupiers,and great grandmother,Eftalia Topali,was macedo-romanian(aromanian)from the region Moskopole-Korce.Their children emigrated after years in USA and Romania.
The relatives I am looking for are my grandmothers(mother of mother) nephews.The informations I have are from my mother and grandmother(both are dead),and they couldn’t keep in touch with the relatives that have gone in other countries.
I inform you that I try to find my relatives that came to America and that arrived initially in BOSTON,MA and then spread in other states from the U.S.For this reason I have posted announcements on some boards,and I dared to ask for help at some persons that know how to search some public information.
I am interested in the history of the TOPALI family and especially the situation of the descendents from USA that are still alive,and i would like to know the names,ages,childrens,adresses,etc.
