His father was John Magray, was run over by a train in 1896 in Crivitz wisconsin - he had three children Frederick, William, Mary (the descendants of William tend to be in Iron County, Michigan)
His father was John Baptiste Magray - whom I believe came from Canada, possibly Nova Scotia, but I cannot get back any furthur, possibly due to name changes, there are about a dozen possible surname spellings
