Carolyn,

Where were your Dixons from? Do you have any from Arkansas? With Blackford grandparents? Blackfords were from Illinois moved to Arkansas. Don't know as much about the Dixon names, But they were my cousins on my mothers side. One of mothers cousins name was Nelly (Dixon) Plumley. There was also, Mary, Irene, Bill and Doc Dixon (brothers and sisters to Nelly) Their father was Ed Dixon and their mother was Laura Jane Dixon. I am related through Laura's daughter, Isabell (Short) Miller. Isabell and Ed were step sister and brother. Laura was married to a Moberly first, then Dixon, then Short, then at last, to a Charles M Kinney. They were buried at Beedeville, Arkansas. I don't know what all their childrens names were.
