I have been trying to research my English Grandparents on my fathers side without much success.My Grandfathers name was Thomas Burrows and my Grandmothers maiden name was Alice Southward. They used to live in Robins Lane St Helens Lancashire before emigrating to New Zealand in 1913 circa. Would appreciate any help in trying to trace any information pertaining to either members of my family. My father John Lenard Burrows was born in UK 21 June 1905, St Helens Lancashire and his paternal grandmothers maiden name was Monk, and his maternal grandmothers maiden name was Catteral or Catherall?My father Died 1 March 1989 in Clevedon New Zealand. If anyone could put me on the right track for obtaining relevant information I would appreciate some help.
