Looking for half brother-born BC

My information is not clear. He was born in BC maybe Burnaby. At birth his name was DeWayne Adams. I believe he was born between 1942-1944. His adoption was not final until I was 9 years old. My mom cried for 3 days. I remember her telling me his parents were divorcing and he was 15 years old. Thanks for your help.
