Go to the adoption registries in New York and give them your information it's a clearinghouse for all adoptee to maybe get in contact with the person your looking for but they have to be registry too. If this women was not married then the adoption may not be valid. They have to have the father to sign over his rights as the child's parent. Let me know how you did.Rose
