Ruiz adoption

On July 27, 1926 an unmarried, Ruth M. Ruiz had a baby girl in Los Angeles Co. That she gave up for adoption through the 'Childrens Home Society of California'
In the adoption papers, the baby was named Baby Royce (Ruiz)
Was later named Mary Anna Armstrong by her adopted parents.
Hearsay is that Ruth had a sister who was a famous spanish dancer in Reseda, California who was also a Ruiz, possible first name..Carmen.
The adopted baby's (Mary Anna) daughter is in search of her true family lineage. If you have any information that may help in this query, I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
