There is a typed Coat of Arms, registered in England going back to 1200 A.D. for the Pendleton ancestry. It is located in the Grindle Point Lighthouse in Islesboro, Maine. It has the genealogy as well as the description of each part of the coat of arms. I am related to the Pendleton's, my g-g-grandfather was Lorenzo Pendleton and I am related to B.G. William Nelson Pendleton who served under General Robert E. Lee in the Civil War. Also I am related to Brian Pendleton, one of the first settlers in Mass. in the 1600's. My lineage also includes the following: Parker, Dodge, Coombs, Farrow, Hatch, and many others.
On my father's side the genealogy is Sager, with history back to 1400's.
I would LOVE to have a copy of the coat of arms for the Pendleton family. As I mentioned, it hangs in the Grindle Point Lighthouse. Others may have copies. PLEASE HELP AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR HELP, Wendy
