For Dora SOKOLA: It is NOT surprising
that your SOKOLA surname shows-up in Romania.
Try: familysearch DOT org
with the exact spelling OFF.

SOKOLA is similar to SOKOLOW.
The suffix is different.
"LA" is probably a feminine ending,
like "of the land."

Romania was also part of the
Austrian-Hungarian empire,
especially with the many changes in borders.
